Long time, No see!

Whew, life has been crazy, I can't believe I haven't posted all month! There seems to always been something going on. Some friends of mine and Mama went to Myrtle Beach a couple weekends ago shopping and relaxing, etc. We got great deals, which I would have it any other way!

It has also been basketball season which means I'm busy at afterschool. This year the AD at my school is going to retire in January, so he asked if he could be head coach. Boy was that a blessing in disguise. With National Boards, School Improvement Team, and other obligations, I have really been tired up alot and unable to be as involved as I would like in basketball. We had a scrimmage today, the girls did pretty good, but we always have room for improvement! Our first game is next Thursday!

Prayer Request: Paul's Granddad has been really sick and is in the hospital, they think that he is going to be able to go to a rest home this week. Just for a short stay until he can regain his strength and go back home. This has really been a difficult time for Paul's Grandma as well trying to take care of him.

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving this Thursday! I am very thankful for my many things! To name just a few my family, especially my wonderful husband that supports me in all I do, even the things he doesn't recommend! LOL!

Till next time, maybe not so long this time!

Cruise to Key West & Cozumel PLUS Baby Kaitlin is finally HERE!

Paul and I just got this afternoon from a Royal Caribbean cruise! It was awesome! So relaxing! We flew to Ft. Lauderdale and got on the ship, Grandeur of the Sea. Friday we stopped in Key West, where Fantasy Fest was going on. It was a WILD party to say the least! We went to the Ernest Hemingway house, which was quite a treat and saw the infamous six toed cats there. Explanation: Because of inbreeding about half of these cats have six toes. The next day we went to Cozumel where we did an excursion to Paradise Island. That included a buffet lunch and a day at a private beach. It was wonderful, when the catamaran was about to leave to go back to the cruise ship, we were very upset! Maybe when we retire we can move down there and get a job. LOL! Sunday we at sea so we spent the day relaxing by the pool and then in the afternoon Paul climbed the rock climbing wall! He did really good and I’m not just saying that because he’s my hubby! I was impressed!

On our way home from the airport today we stopped by Rex Hospital and met Kaitlin Elizabeth Pickett! Our friends Scott and Kim welcomed baby Kaitlin into the world early Saturday morning! She is beautiful!! Congrats to the Picketts! Thanks for letting us stop by and get our fix, we can probably go another five years!! LOL!
