11 Months Old

*Weight: ~23 lbs. *Schedule: 6am-8am-ish: Nurse/ Breakfast 10:30-12:00-ish: Sippy Cup/Lunch 2-3pm: Sippy Cup/Snack 5:00-ish: Nurse/Supper 7:30-8pm: Nurse/8oz bottle of breastmilk *Sleep: 8pm till 6-7am *Napping: 2 naps, sometimes just 1 nap a day, depending on what we are doing. If there is a lot going on Nick is always afraid he might miss something. If we are going somewhere we try to schedule him to sleep on the road, we have found that works well. *Spitting up: I am very happy to report that we are on NO spit up meds and he seems to be spitting up much less. Hardly any to speak of. Hope it stays that way. *Cruising: Walking holding on to furniture and standing for a few seconds unassisted. Then he realizes he is doing it and sits down. *Climbing- Nick has learned to throw up his leg and climb. He recently climbed out of the bathtub, up from the sand onto the pier, and from the ground up on a lawn chair. *Clothes: 12 months and some 18 months *Diapers: Size 3 *Still LOVES paci! It is probably going to be a mess trying to take it away because he is attached to it. *Teeth: 10 total, 6 on top and 4 on the bottom, bottom 2 molars will be in any day. *Eczema: Much better! Still doing Rx cream on his knees they are very dry and rough, but they also may be because he crawls around on them all the time. *Food: Loves everything we give him and will eat until we stop feeding him. Nick is eating table food and prefers to feed himself rather than Mommy or Daddy feeding him. Nick can now suck from a straw and loves to do so. *Talking: Nick can say Ma-Ma, Da-Da, Bye-Bye, and Ba-ba. He waves bye-bye. *Chicago Trip: Mommy and Daddy left Nick for the first time for more than 1 night. We went to Chicago for Paul to attend the GMAC conference. I dropped Nick off with Giggi and Grandaddy on Tuesday night about 7:30 and picked him up from Gramma and Grandpa on Saturday morning about 8:30. It was a good break, but I was ready to see my Nickie-poo. He did great! I did good too, I realize that my marriage is very important. Paul and I needed that time. We walked a million miles, went on a boat tour, went to Cirque de Shanghi show on Navy Pier, and had romantic dinners.
