Busy and Thankful

Things have been crazy busy recently. I am happy to announce that Grandmama seems to be doing a lot better, she went to the doctor today and her sodium was up to almost normal. Mama has talked her into going to the river, which will be easier on Mama. Pray for Mama as she continues to give Grandmama 24/7 care and pray for Grandmama that she will continue to improve.

With my busy schedule and Grandmama being sick, I have had some time to reflect. It is so easy on a daily basis to get lost in the hustle and bustle!
I am thankful for:
*my health
*a wonderful hubby that loves and supports me
*a wonderful family (including the cutest little niece in the world)
*a home
*supportive and excepting friends
*a loving and supportive church family
*a dependable car

I could keep going for days, but these are just a few.

Grandmama's Surgery

I would love to write that Grandmama's surgery was a complete success and she is doing much better, but it's just not true. We were so hopeful that this surgery would give her back relief! She is still in alot of pain and we are wondering what the future holds. Mama is staying with her right now, which is ALOT on her. This weekend we are in hopes that we can talk her into going down to the river. Just the view should be healing.

Will's play at AGHS is also this weekend.
Please be in prayer for Grandmama, Will and the other students at AGHS's play, Relay for Life this weekend in Pitt and Beaufort Counties, and Mama as she takes care of Grandmama.

KP's Shower & Aunt Kim's (TT's) GURL!

Last night my co-workers and I threw a bridal shower for my team-mate, Kim Paschal. For those of you that don't know I teach English and Kim is my math counterpart. The Lord sure knew what he was doing when he brought Kim to us. We compliment each other so well. Also, for those of you that don't know me, I am a "worrier". I worry about everything from person to profession to EVERYTHING. Guess its just my personality. BUT Kim P. on the other hand is laid back and knows how to let things roll. I think you guys get the picture, I love her, and I super glad that she is my team-mate I hope we get to work together for many years to come.

So anyway, last night we threw her a bridal shower at AJ's and I think it went pretty well. I had some games planned that I think everyone enjoyed. I will spare you the pics, but I did take a few that are G rated, check them out!

School Peeps!

Paul kept Abby yesterday during they day! To say the least I think they had a ball. They went to the ECU spring football game and the ECU baseball game. I got to spend a little time with Abby this morning before I headed back to Grandmama's and they headed to church. I put her hair is piggy-tails, isn't she just the cutest! Love her to death!

Smell, TT!

I see you!

I could eat her up!

Grandmama's surgery is tomorrow morning please be in prayer for the surgery's success.

Grandmama B Update

My Grandmama in Kinston is still not doing well. My Mom has been staying with her 24-7 pretty much since we got back from NY (March 29). This weekend Will and I are givng her a break, so I stayed Friday night and Will is staying Saturday night. She is very weak and having trouble getting up and down. Thank so much for all your prayers! Her surgery is schedule for Monday morning at PCMH, please say a prayer for her Monday morning. The doctor says the majority of patients have immediate relief after surgery, lets hope this is the case for her.

Cruise and Take One DONE!

Paul and I returned Monday from our cruise to the Bahamas we had a blast minus me getting the stomach bug on Saturday night. The medical staff on board was very helpful and I stayed in the comfort of my stateroom for the remainder of the cruise. We visited Nassau and Coco Cay. Not sure about future cruises, we REALLY enjoyed the all inclusive resort we went to on our honeymoon. I think that is more our speed! Here are a few pics...

My National Board Take One entry was put in the mail TODAY! Thank goodness!! It really hasn't been so bad considering I could have had three more entries to do! :( The other three will have to wait till next year, hopefully I can get a head start this summer!

Update:
My Grandmama is still having trouble getting around and other health problems due to her back issues. She is having surgery on Monday, please keep her in your prayers!
